Medical / Scientific Editor

As a Medical / Scientific Editor, you will refine theses, journal articles, and conference abstracts
so they are clear, consistent, and submission-ready for high-impact journals.
- Review and edit theses, manuscripts, and abstracts for clarity, coherence, grammar, and style.
- Ensure alignment with target-journal guidelines, house style, and referencing formats (e.g., AMA, Vancouver, APA).
- Evaluate data presentation (tables, figures, captions) and flag inconsistencies or ambiguities.
- Work closely with authors to clarify scientific meaning and resolve content queries.
- Uphold confidentiality, authorship norms, and publication ethics at all times.
- MD / PhD / MSc in Medicine, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or related disciplines.
- At least 2–3 PubMed-indexed publications as first or co-author (impact factor ≥ 5 preferred).
- Demonstrated expertise in academic English and familiarity with journal submission workflows.
- Prior experience in medical editing or scientific writing will be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, and excellent communication skills.

Editorial Reviewer (Medicine)
Freelance / Part-time
The Editorial Reviewer will provide in-depth scientific critique of medical manuscripts, ensuring they are
methodologically sound, ethically compliant, and ready for peer review.
- Review manuscripts for scientific accuracy, methodological rigor, and conceptual soundness.
- Provide structured feedback on study design, statistical analysis, and interpretation of results.
- Ensure adherence to ICMJE, CONSORT, STROBE, and relevant reporting guidelines.
- Collaborate with medical editors, statisticians, and authors to refine manuscripts prior to submission.
- MD, DM, MCh, PhD, or equivalent in biomedical / clinical sciences.
- Minimum of 5 peer-reviewed publications (PubMed/Scopus/Web of Science indexed).
- At least one article as first or corresponding author.
- Demonstrated experience in peer review, critical appraisal, or editorial roles.
- Strong analytical thinking and clear, concise scientific writing skills.

Biostatistician / Data Analyst
Full-time / Contract
As a Biostatistician / Data Analyst, you will support end-to-end statistical workflows, from design and
sample-size calculations to advanced modeling and result interpretation for clinical and observational studies.
- Assist with study design, including sample size calculations and power analysis.
- Perform data cleaning, coding, and management for clinical and observational datasets.
- Conduct statistical analyses (regression, survival analysis, multivariable models, propensity methods).
- Generate interpretable tables, figures, and statistical reports for manuscripts and grant proposals.
- Communicate complex statistical concepts in accessible language to clinician-scientists and trainees.
- MSc / PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Data Science, or related field.
- Proficiency in at least one major statistical package (R, Stata, SAS, SPSS, or Python).
- Experience with clinical trials, observational cohorts, or registry-based research preferred.
- At least 2 PubMed-indexed publications as co-author where statistical analysis was central (preferred).
- Ability to manage timelines and work across multiple projects concurrently.

Copy Editor / Language Specialist

The Copy Editor / Language Specialist will polish academic documents for readability, consistency, and
style, working closely with medical editors to ensure scientific accuracy and language quality.
- Edit academic texts for grammar, syntax, tone, and overall readability.
- Ensure consistency of terminology, abbreviations, and style across the document.
- Check referencing, in-text citations, and footnotes for accuracy and journal-specific formatting.
- Collaborate with medical editors and statisticians to maintain alignment between text and data.
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in English, Linguistics, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Excellent command of academic English and familiarity with styles such as AMA, APA, or Chicago.
- Prior experience editing scholarly or scientific documents (PubMed-indexed manuscripts preferred).
- Certifications such as BELS/ELS will be considered a strong advantage.

Editorial Assistant / Manuscript Coordinator

The Editorial Assistant / Manuscript Coordinator will keep our projects moving—coordinating authors,
reviewers, and internal teams to ensure smooth, timely delivery of every assignment.
- Manage manuscript pipelines, track versions, and coordinate timelines with authors and reviewers.
- Perform quality checks for author details, affiliations, ethics/COI statements, and acknowledgments.
- Format manuscripts, tables, and references according to target-journal guidelines.
- Support the editorial team with project tracking, documentation, and status reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Publishing, English, or a related discipline.
- Highly organized, process-driven, and comfortable working across multiple concurrent projects.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; familiarity with manuscript submission systems is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
